Your must-sees so far

Thought it might be interesting to see which of the bands announced so far are the most popular among our forum members :) Please write your three 100% must-see bands, as well as no more than five others that you're really looking forward to (no cheating!) and perhaps one or two that you'll probably be looking to avoid.

Must-sees:

Grandaddy

Tindersticks

The Deep Dark Woods

Looking forward to:

The Strange Boys

Justin Townes Earle

Perfume Genius

Robert Ellis

Richard Buckner

Not keen on:

Van Dyke Parks

Hypothetical as I'm 99% sure I'm not going to go this year...

Must sees:

Grandaddy

John Grant

Delicate Steve

Looking forward to:

Grizzly Bear

The Shivers

Cashier No 9

Willis Earl Beal

....?

Not fussed:

Pretty much everything else - not because they're not good bands, but because I've either seen them before or because I've listened and they don't grab me enough to make me want to buy a ticket

I struggled to make that list. Of my three must sees I'm sure at least two of them will also play in London while they're here so I'll just go and see them there instead. The only people on the lineup that'd make me consider buying a ticket are Grandaddy and John Grant, but I'm put off by the fact that both will play on the souless Woods stage. If they were on the Garden Stage then I might just reconsider coming, but honestly I think I'm probably done with EOTR. I'm really disappointed with the lineup this year, but I guess every festival gets bigger and becomes a victim of its own success eventually.

Can someone please explain to me what Van Dyke Parks is all about? Was listening to Clang of the Yankee Reaper yesterday and I enjoyed a few of the tracks... but what is this? :P

Feels like I am listening to a street performer in Reading town centre playing to a backing track.

Pretty much the only artist on the line-up I can't get into though, looks like I'll have to make a lot of big clash decisions again.

Must Sees:

Grizzy Bear

The Antlers

Beach House

Looking forward to:

Porcelain Raft

Veronica Falls

Alabama Shakes

First Aid Kit

Perfume Genius

Not fussed:

Tindersticks

I could easily list another 25 bands in the 'looking forward to' list, which means I'm going to have a tough time deciding which ones to miss out on. This isn't made any easier by the fact that I have to say I'd struggle to lengthen my 'must sees' list.

Last year my 'must see' list was definitely a lot longer. I'm still greedily holding out hope for a few more 'must sees' in the final announcements though.
