The Ziggy albums I've got/heard are OK - nothing particularly fantastic, but definitely OK.

Chas
Style Scott has reportedly been murdered in Jamaica. There's not a lot of information out there at the moment but it will be very sad news if true. For me possibly the greatest drummer in reggae. eFestivals
And now John Holt has died. I had the pleasure of seeing him two months ago, tho he collapsed on-stage mid-set so I didn't get to enjoy it to the full. I did get some lovely photos tho. Play this one loud..... eFestivals
new British reggae is coming thru strong at the moment, particularly via Prince Fatty.I'm loving 'The Kingdom Of Dub' by Prince Fatty Meets Nostalgia 7, and I've just discovered that Horseman has an album about to be released, called 'Dawn of the Dread' which I've just ordered. eFestivals
Steel Pulse are playing 'Handsworth Revolution' in full as their London Ska Festival Show on 4th April.I'll be there, because I'd been thinking it can't get better than that, but it just has. My missus has just told me that she's seen on facewipe that support will be from Dennis Bovell with his Dub Band ... which makes it heaven for me.
