I'd like to think he'd want nothing to do with this shameful event.

What is it, £10billion and rising? to allow thousands of rich people to watch some drug addled freaks run around and play in a sandpit for a few weeks?

Meanwhile thousands of people are dying of hunger and thirst in Africa and beyond. Thousands of people in the UK are living below the poverty line.

These games are the utter shame of the nation and are rightfully being shunned by the vast majority of the population.

Anyone in any way excited by this event is quite simply a mindless cretin who has fallen for the most hypocritical, patronising marketing campain the country has ever seen.

All jokes aside, what's happened in Bradford is a national disgrace. I'm from there originally and I used to think it was quite a cool place. Don't visit there too often now (family have moved away as well) but when I do it seems deader and deader. Such beautiful architecture, theatres and concert venues and sod all else apart from the rugby team.

Completely off topic sorry.

Quite happy about the Olympics, just usual timing for us to be given it in the midst of a depression. They're waiting for the next one before we get the world cup.
