firecracker
Haven't really thought about glastonbury in about a week, and went to T last weekend--had a great time! I was watching highlights of the foos last night and then went on to watch some of colplay at glasto. After about a minute it hit me again that I literally don't know what I'm gonna do without it for 2 years. I was absolutely gutted watching it, and for all the other good festivals, they just don't compare whatsoever. Post glasto blues have struck again !! MyTwistedWords
I feel exactly the same, I can't even watch the highlights
fatyeti24
there's no time for feeling blue. we've got two years, troops. you're needed out here, on the front line, fighting the good fight. you are armed with Youtube, your memories and a couple of hundred thousand comrades. be brave. stand tall. we CAN do this. Pinhead
We all miss it; we all do. But it gives us plenty of memories to recall, and that's a splendid thing.

Strummer74
Had blues too for about a week. Went through the ritual of setting camp chair up in mates living room with a beer and watching highlights (can't believe my chair broke then and not when i was in the thick of it) To be honest i'm now actually looking forward to trying out a little random festival somewhere next year. Not sure where yet but looking forward to a new experience.
reallife
You see, Strummer, I can appreciate you mindless optimism, but I know it is just a nervous reaction to there not being a Glasto next year. Get yourself a new chair and a crate of brothes and get back round your friends house and mope like the rest of us

Guest Flip
Take your £200 you would have spent on Glasto 2012 and buy a Bearded Theory festival ticket [May], a Willowman festival ticket [June] and an Alchemy festival ticket [september]...you will probably have about £50 left over to buy booze and the summers sorted... ..there is life after Glasto... ...promise!! Oddone
Some soldiers were away in WW2 for years on end. A 2 year wait for Glasto is nothing. Try waiting 5 years then find out old Jimmy had his head blown off in France.

Amii
I found a cure! Beer festival. Find one locally, bring camping chair, drink cider and ale, listen to live music. It's like a little Glastonbury if you squint a bit.
Morse Code
I was looking at 'other' festivals and there are literally hundreds of them to choose from. I don't want to go to any of them mind and will spend my whole summer moping. Just thought I'd mention it........
