The only decent acts on that list are Biffy Clyro and Iron Maiden, the latter being a bit past it and the former nothing particularly special any more. As for the others, it's not just they have no place at the Brits, they have no place at any awards show that isn't exclusively for metal

From this performance Mumford and Sons are nowhere near headliner standard.

Marcus looks like he is absolutely baking.

Get Metallica instead.

Well done Sandé though on album of the year

Something I posted on Facebook:

Do I even need to post just how AWFUL the Brit Awards have been!!!!!

Muse are the only rock band in performance and we are giving Dave Grohl the wrong impressions of Britain. My favourite acts are from the international awards. This needs a change.

Biffy Clyro

Iron Maiden

Enter Shikari

Asking Alexandria

While She Sleeps

Bullet For My Valentine

The list is long and the brit awards can't see it.

Just a thought here, if all pans out, and it's say kanye on the Sunday, pulp sub?

If its strokes, could/would pulp sub? May tick the locals boxes as well as if its kanye gets the yoof ticked box aswell, this is more selfish hope on my part pulp play, as some of you know pulp are a very important band to me

When Iron Maiden won the Brit for best live act,an award voted for by Radio 2 listeners, you could just see the look of bemusement on the crowds faces, especially Coldplay. I think they got the same amount of votes as all the other acts put together. They hated it so much that they kept blocking all youtube videos of their acceptance speech.

brilliant moment

    • Yeah exactly, the shock moments, group layouts, etc all end up playing out differently once you get into the tournament. However you tweak it, you don't predict shocks.
    • I could see Muse doing BST, Lytham Festival and the one in Cardiff next year.
