This thread is something else. 438 posts of roots reggae, rocksteady and dub from @bamber.

Almost all my favourite music traces its roots to these musicians so I love it. 

Remembering the godfather of ska here, gone for 5 years now. This song accurately sums up my mood whenever I hear it!

Thank you, I haven't seen this. Here he is a couple of years back at Band on the Wall. I do think he was a genius, even at 80+ his final albums (Rainford & Heavy Rain) were superb.

Lee Perry moved to London in the mid - late 80s

Who saw that coming.

I wuz there,

Never met him.

Ah well.

It was his least productive period.

There were highs though.

Like this.
