RANT OVER

Agreed! I bought a campervan ticket two years ago, and it did not arrive. See tickets initially said that they had sent it, but then changed the story when I asked for proof of postage. Then it became my fault for not phoning them, more than the three times that I did, before the festival to prompt them to send it.

Needless to say, I did not get a refund. I still have an open small claims court case against them.

For a festival that's organized so incredibly well, each year I am amazed they use such an awful ticket agent.

My rant over!

AEG and See are different companies. But Ticketmaster ain't any better when it comes to fees, f**k ups etc.

Best stick to smaller independant agencies such as TheBooth or Skiddle to buy tickets when if possible.

AEG's booking fee is a joke but at least the ticket arrives in plenty of time, got mine a couple of weeks ago.

Ordered from SeeTickets once and the ticket never turned up, was for Arcade Fire last December at SECC. Had to wait in a queue with all the other people who's tickets didn't arrive from them. Ordered with them again though for the same band at the castle in September and the ticket came about a month ago.

Best thing to do, is to buy them off the ticket outlets themselves.. Mania or Zoo in Inverness for instance. You pay for your ticket, and go home with ticket safely in your pocket, then store it somewhere secure until the festival :) happy dayyss

    • belated thanks for this ended up going, was a good evening and a great venue with a cracking beer selection (give the festival a few tips on that). Never been in before despite reasonably local.       Main takeaways from the film (as someone who didnt go for much later). The festival has changes a lot since then apart from the Green Fields that looked the exact same.  Me and my mate both agreed that Shambala is today than Glastonbury.   Cool piece of merch aswell.
