I am pleased to say that Earthbound Misfits will be at all Alchemy events this year! :)

Introduction:

The Earth Bound Misfits is a small tribe of people from all walks of life whom share a passion of Street Theatre, Circus & Vaudeville Performance arts.

Disclaimer:

Before going any further by law we are obliged to bring to you attention this warning from the:

Ministry of Circus:

All circus and street theatre arts are highly addictive and should not be tried or attempted by anyone with weak wills or addictive traits to their personality.

Earth Bound Misfits Ltd are not responsible for the addiction of the human race to circus and street theatre however we do provide a support service and drop in centre so you can discuss your problems with like minded folk.

The Misfits performances come in two forms, Static and Walkabout. Both

forms use the arts of circus, comedy and street theatre.

In every performance we try to bridge the audience performer gap and

actively encourage the audience to spontaneously join in with their own

comments and wit. The Misfits thrive on this audience participation, which

often produces the best and most memorable moments of any performance.

At all times we try a conjure an atmosphere of fun, engaging the audience to

create a truly individual show.

If your coming to this event please help by telling your friends about it etc. also maybe you could put a poster up or hand out some fliers - please email alchemy.festival@live.com with your address if you can help.

Please also spread the word on any forums etc. that you may be a member off.

This event will only break even if it sells out :( - It is not designed to make (or loose) money. Please help if you can - you should by now know what Alchemy is about - it needs all your help to work! :)

See you at Alchemy!

Car Sharing

Alchemy festivals aim to be as green as possible so if you are driving to any events we ask you try and bring a full car of people to minimise the effect on the environment.

So if your looking for a lift or are your planning on driving to any of the Alchemy Festivals please use Alchemy's goCarShare site to check for spare seats or get all your spaces filled with fellow festival goers!

See you on the dance floor :)

Thanks Alchemy, what a fantastic weekend, thoroughly enjoyed it all. Didn't quite get the perfect weather for the duration, Saturday night was absolutely freezing but it didn't matter - although we were certainly thankful for the campfire and cup of tea from the Kaplick cafe!

We saw some great bands, really enjoyed Quarrel, Dandelion & The Rockets, Akahum, Skiprat, Sambalada and of course RDF who were just brilliant. It must be knocking on for 17 years since I last saw them and they were every bit as good as they always were.

Thanks for all the advice from people on the forum, everything you said was true, what a great festival.

Roll on September...
