I'm not sure I'll be able to explain how I do it, but I'll give it a go. I just go to something like Youtube and once I have got what I want up on there I just copy and paste what's in the bar at the top which gives the 'address' (it's probably called something else). Not sure if that makes sense or not?

looks like you are using the "embed" option when you are copying the link. All you have to do is paste the url of the video from the address bar of your browser as yog has said above.

Are you double clicking on the address to highlight it before copying it? Not sure that would make any difference at all so am clutching at straws as to how to work out why it's not happening for you.

@feral, this if me directly copy and pasting the "share" link from the page you linked the url to. try that. under the video, click "share", then make sure "share this video" is underlined, not "embed", then copy and past the youtu.be link direct into your post, you dont need to use any buttons, just a direct copy and paste into the text box of your reply.

If I use the right click copy and paste, when I get to efestivals, paste is greyed out, and it's only giving me the option to go to copied address. if I control and v, the superscript icon activates, and I correct it, but it comes back, and this is what gets pasted.

I'm wondering if it's something to do with my antivirus keyboard protection or something.

(I've edited the actual font afterwards).

Anyway, thanks for doing my link properly, t8ty, the cockatoo has cheered me up immensely lately, I want one, it parties better than a lot of humans!
