Car parking

Car parking isn't free, no. Beautiful Days like many festivals tries to encourage people to arrive by public transport.

Because the festival is in the windy laned Devon countryside, access to the site is a bit narrow at times and there are two routes a red one and a blue one. One is for cars dropping off (and I believe disabled access too) the other is for 'over weekend' parking. So that people don't take the wrong route their cars are colour coded with window stickers.

This prevents cars going the wrong way and attempting to turn around and block all the access up for miles around. It's a system that works wqell, and you have a neat window sticker in your windscreen which is a great way to meet fellow random festival goers in a car park or such like and while away a few minutes talking about the festival, and re-living the memories.
