kaosmark2
Saw Radiohead on Saturday. They were mostly excellent. Give Up the Ghost is pretty shit live though. The dual vocals make the backing track very obvious and it really didn't work. Alternate and interesting versions of Airbag and Planet Telex were fantastic, I completely didn't expect Hunting Bears or Pyramid Song. Anyone heard anything about the QR codes they've been showing on screens during their tour or what they mean? I've tried google to no success. stramasher
.... Motörhead and anthrax in manc a coupla weeks later.... Will be seeing these two a few days after you. I'll never get tired of seeing Bomber/Overkill live. Half the entertainment can be seeing lots of old people (Hi-de-Ho! ) and my peers going nuts. A friday night too. Carnage. I'm sure of a bit of contrast from seeing Animal Collective two nights before. Missed them the last time they were round. Never seen them. Not sure what to expect. Been avoiding watching any live footage so I get the full effect? Loud and trippy will do me.

The Nal
Nice one! They were fantastic at Glasto a few years back. they were great on Saturday. In Temple Bar Square in Dublin. They kind of had it made up like the Glade in Glasto. Really good. Beer only at the bar though which was a bummer.

eFestivals
Django Django were great, good to see a refreshing sound for a change refreshing maybe. Fresh ... I don't think so. If they've not been visiting Brian Eno's output of 35-ish years ago and being ... erm ... very strongly influenced by him (that's a massive understatement!) then I'm a monkey's uncle. Paul ™
I wasn't around going to gigs 35 years ago, it was refreshing to me But cheers for the heads up, will look into some of Eno's stuff around that time.
