I know everyone's sick of reading the politics in this thread (myself included) but I just want to thank eFestivals for taking a stand on the page 3 girls. For a long time I've been uncomfortable about the casual misogyny on this forum -- and not only in this thread.

A worrying number of people here don't seem to have a clue about what objectification is and why it might be offensive. I suggest you take five measly minutes to educate yourselves -- although I know you won't.

Those saying it's 'only done in a spirit of fun' and 'it's okay because women choose to wear short skirts and dance provocatively', I invite you to consider for a moment what it's like to be a woman and live in a world where you can't go ten bloody minutes without seeing a mostly-naked woman on a magazine shelf, on a poster, on TV, online, in music videos, in adverts. Women are objectified all the effing time and it quietly erodes away again and again at gender equality. And, by the way, gender inequality harms men too. Nobody wins.

Raunch culture and objectification are things that you can actively choose not to contribute to. When you post softcore porn on this forum, you don't do it in a cultural vacuum. And that is why people are so angry about it.

Thank you eFestivals.

The more that is posted make me sure of one thing.....

The weather is a difficult thing to predict.

Therefore I have in my own mind decided that the computers are a betting bunch and have decided (AI styli) to cover all their bases so when all said and done they will always have been right....

The fact that it can change so quickly means that it can change again. Im about 45mins from Pilton and its peeing it down. But its been on of all days with the sun coming out the dry up whats the silly clouds have just left behind. Lets hope it gets it out its system now and not next weekend.

The ensembles are good is what I think he's trying to say.

Not much rain at all showing.

Okay so it might not be wall to wall sunshine but it's the rain factor which i'm most concentrated on. The less the better...

The sun can do what it wants and is just an added bonus :)

    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
