Sorry - is the Jackone forecast up yet? Is there a link? I seem to have lost his thread since he started to put them in a different place from his original Glastonbury thread.

Quite sure I'm being a dope but excuse that and point me in the right direction, preferably via a german maiden for luck!!!

A bit of a mixed bag today, looking less settled for the festival, but the GFS and GEFS seems to keep Glastonbury largely dry although a few showers are possible to start the festival. ECM 06Hz a bit unsettled with low pressure over the UK for the start of the festival, and only slowly moving it away to the east. The ECM 12Hz will be the deciding factor for me tonight. Unfortunately it has gone with the ECM 06Hz, so despite the GFS op runs and ensembles largely going for dry weather, after the Wednesday, the threat of low pressure from the ECM mean a 6 on a scale of 0=dustbowl and 10=mudbath.

I'm surprised he's at a 6 after the latest forecast. The last few forecasts have been gradually improving...

But I think i've heard people mention before that he remains on the cautious side. So bear that in mind.

Just for banter:

    • The Radio Dept.?! That's a surprise to me, they haven't toured in like 8 years. Hopefully they will announce some more shows.
    • I was assuming September in Stirling might have a different issue tbf in the form of it just pissing it down.
    • Yeah so many of mine seem to be just France v Spain in one semi and England/Brazil v Argentina in the other. But the fact those combos are the obvious ones mean it feels unlikely that'll happen because in World Cup history, you very rarely end up with what pre-tournament looks like the obvious final 4. We all see teams outperform and underperform. Which one is the fall guy is a different matter.   I've said elsewhere that for me, there's a hierarchy of Spain, France and Argentina as the 3 strongest looking, then England and Portugal, then Brazil and Germany, but that overall, they'd be the 7 likeliest to win. So I dunno, maybe this will be the time the Netherlands avenge the failure of total football in 1974 and achieve what they couldn't achieve through whatever the f**k Nigel de Jong was with his 2010 final karate moves.
    • Oh I think Infantino should resign. His handling of the whole WC process has been an utter shitshow. But you know. That would require him having integrity or something.
    • Good Charlotte would be fine third down or subbing. If they can get a bigger sub and still get GC, they’ll play third down.
