My first thought was Madonna but for the "after them for years" leaves me pondering Prince. Leaving U2, Radiohead, Price as a possible headline trio which, for no real reason, I can't really see happening (no foundation for this at all, just a feeling). Now I am wondering, Foo Fighters

At least it'll keep everyone interested and guessing
