Sonisphere bag checks at main gate

Can anybody tell us how stricted the security checks are on the entrance to sonisphere?

just wondering if its worth trying to take a small gas stove to try and keep the budget down on food?

some of the crew are on a very tight budget>

I'm interested in this subject too, having not been last year, after losing my weed to the security at Glastonbury! Don't want that to happen again!

Depends when you caught them last year. Some guards couldn't care less, others was as harsh as Hitler. You've got a 50/50 chance.

Down your pants....! Security at Glastonbury were very thorough this year but were not doing bodily searches unless they found anything to say you had it hidden..i.e. rizla or looking a bit stary eyed. Imagine it's the same everywhere. Only festival I have seen sniffer dogs was V a few years ago.
