Over 16s - but not adults ?!

Hi we love EiiD - last year my 15 yr old daughter (&mate) had fun too and were cost effective as part of a family ticket :-)

This year we now have a quandary.... they are now 16 - so should pay £70 each for an adult ticket? DOUBLE the price of a kidz ticket....

So if they are donning an adult wristband - are they treated as 'adults' all weekend?

I understand festival organisers (nice bunch!!! - judged by Rich of BT !) cannot do tickets for EVERY category - but a TEEN ticket - mid-price between the 2 would be ACE! and also would stop any shenanigans with teens attempting to buy drinky poos if they had a different wristband on!

ALSO !!! elsewhere on the forum - a question was asked 'how old does an accomanying adult need to be to take in a child ticket holder' - the answer was 'a fully paid adult ticket holder must accompany a child ticket holder' ....... so that means a 16yr old adult ticket holder could take in a few of 15 yr kids? :-0
