There are seven weeks to go until Beautiful Days 2010 - we are now VERY close to selling out and can announce the last few acts for the main two stages include the return of Dreadzone who are back by popular demand, Arthur Brown, Kathryn Williams, Boppin’ B, Kassidy, The Last Republic and, of course, The Fabulous Good Time Party Boys. We’re also delighted to announce ‘Scary Dave presents’ on the Saturday and Sunday daytime in the Little Big Top with hours of stand-up comedy from Paddy Lennox, Pierre Hollins, Liam Mullone, Hils Barker, Woody Lee, Brian Damage & Krystal, Doozer, Attila the Stockbroker, Sully O'Sullivan, Del Strain, Debra Jane Appleby, Dan Cardwell, Ian Cognito, Gareth Berliner, Rich Allen, Paul Pirie and Mitch Benn.

The NEW AREA at the festival this year replacing the Pussy Parlure is DIRTY DAVEY’S which will feature a bandstand and real ale bar with outdoor seating area and food stalls. DIRTY DAVEY’S will play host to a huge range of really diverse acts, speakers and groups during the weekend to be announced very soon. In the meantime though we are holding some slots on the Dirty Davey’s Bandstand for YOU! If you want to perform on the bandstand then please email info@beautifuldays.org with 'bandstand' in the subject line and tell us what you do - we're not just looking for musicians - comedy, magic, dance, theatre - all acts will be considered!

We're all very excited at Beautiful Days HQ with the line-up this year with acts already announced including James, The Wailers, Levellers, Newton Faulkner, Billy Bragg, Easy Star All-Stars, New Model Army, Bellowhead, British Sea Power, Fairport Acoustic Convention, African Headcharge, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Stornoway, The Alarm and many, many more. The full line-up of acts announced so far is on the Artist 2010 page of the website.

Beautiful Days has music across five stages plus a huge children’s area in the centre of the festival, walkabout theatre, amazing site art, comedy, food & craft stalls, a village shop and pub-price bars run by Otter Brewery. We’ve also added a healing area at the festival this year.

The Body and Soul Area will be located near the Tiny Tea Tent and will have a dedicated team of qualified therapists and healers, each bringing their own unique skills and energies to Beautiful Days. On offer is a wide range of treatments for you to relax, unwind and to enjoy some blissful peace. Visit the circle early to ensure a booking or come and ask questions about what is on offer.

Also, we promised we would warn you so here you are – the tickets for Beautiful Days 2010 are very close to selling out! Please don’t leave it too long if you want to come to the festival as we are honestly going to sell out VERY soon.

Tickets are on sale now from www.levellers.co.uk, www.seetickets.com and www.artistticket.com and, due to demand, we are releasing a very small number of EXTRA CAMPERVAN TICKETS next week on Wednesday 7 July so if you are one of the people who missed out then please go to www.seetickets.com from 9am on the Wednesday - they are strictly limited and are sure to be snapped up quickly!
