Apparently SMS (for that's who they are) tried to deliver my ticket today, as the email I received said they would. This may have occurred this morning, but the only reason I knew this was because the information on the tracker changed from being due to be delivered on 14/6 to 'we have attempted a delivery'. I was in and doing nothing so I could make sure I heard the courier. No card was left of course. I've now rearranged the delivery for Friday and will see what happens this time.

For anyone who was emailed to say that their ticket was going to be delivered but it wasn't and you received no card, if you go to http://www.thedx.co.uk/customerservice/trackinganitem/ and enter your tracking number (from the email) you'll probably find they're claiming to have attempted a delivery. You'll then need to rearrange the delivery using the website, or I think there is a number on the website you can call instead.

Royal Mail special delivery would be so much easier, but I guess since See couldn't claim such a huge booking fee as for other tickets, they have to claw the money back through using cheap couriers like 'The DX'/SMS for delivery.

has anyone had their ticket delivered via royal mail ? only I had a royal mail card through the door the other day but thought it was for something else but the "something else" turned up the following day and there's nothing else I've ordered that I'm waiting for apart from my tickets.

I got mine earlier this week :P , email sent and ticket arrived 2/3 days later, although my brother and his son have yet to received theirs, is this because its their first time and they have two tickets going to the same address?

Update... I've just answered my mobile to a very nice lady from DX Customer Services who said she was phoning me in response to my call this morning and about a message i'd left on one of the festival forums :P (My username is the name of my street so it wouldn't be difficult to know it was me !).

The lady said she had spoken to the delivery agent and found out that, indeed, the delivery was attempted at the wrong address and would like to apologise for the problem. She said the redelivery will be made tomorrow, but in the morning (rather than all day as said by the agent this morning) and that she would monitor the delivery to make sure it went through OK.

Well I never ! Looks like moaning on here actually got me somewhere. I'm happy with that - I understand that mistakes happen and it was mainly the insistence that the delivery had been attempted that got my back up when I knew damn well it hadn't.

To the nice lady from DX. Thanks (presuming delivery goes OK tomorrow :P )

Got an email from SeeTickets confirming that my delivery was signed for at which postcode (of the depot I went to collect from) and date (I signed for them yesterday).

So if people are worrying about them delivering to the wrong address or whatever, you'd get a similar email so you'd know. Probably wouldn't help you much mind, but you'd know that your tickets had been delivered to someone...

Mine just arrived at my office in Ludlow, Shropshire. :P

I rearranged it from home once I heard See were using a courier. The nearest Depot was miles from here so I really didn't want to have to go and get it.

Funny thing though. Our office is on the top floor of an old building, and the normal entrance is at the front. We also have a training room on the bottom floor which is empty unless there's a course going on, and it has an entrance at the rear of the building, down a ramp.

The guy from DX went past our front door, down the ramp to the back door. Fortunately it had been unlocked, it's usually locked. He then came into our empty offices, found the Fire escape staircase at the back, and came up to the third floor, and in through the fire exit next to my desk. :P

So I'm quite pleased that he went so far beyond the call of duty to get it to me. Our front door isn't super obvious so I can kind of see why he missed it. But wow! If that back door had been locked I bet he would have just driven off.

Anyway, I'm really counting the days now.

I Got an email two days ago saying my tickets would be delivered tomorrow (Yesterday). No tickets arrived. So I entered the tracking umber onto DX's website and it said there due for delivery on 14/6/10. Which is over two weeks away.

I filled out a re-delivery form online and now the tracker says they're due for delivery on the 28th (Tomorrow).

All seems a bit odd to me....`
