stuartbert two hats
I can't believe I saw The Las. Thought they were a part of history, then they went and played the other stage. What's more, I wanted to hear Cast songs instead, which really surprised me, because I bloody hated Cast back in the day!
nesta6245
Kajagoogoo, my mate had noone to go with and nagged and nagged, it was quite good another girl fainted from our school who I didn't like so it kind of made it worthwhile. I've seen Pink Floyd, Canned Heat, The Clash, quite a few that other people might not believe, but I certainly believe it, I was there. grumpyhack
I've no chance of remembering all my gigs. I'm struggling to remember the first. I was into folk at The Troubadour in Clifton, Bristol and remember seeing Al Stewart in his early days. I was also into US West Coast music and recall The Electric Prunes and Led Zepp at Bath Pavillion. Around that time was also Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones. I saw The Stones at the Colston Hall in Bristol in what was billed as their Farewell Tour in 68 or 69. They were supported by The Groundhogs, who blew them off the stage. Odd how 40 years on we'd still be pleased to see many of them at Glasto.
