Earth Sculpture Workshop

Lincolnshire ex pat mud mason Richard Allen will be returning to the

shire to hold a weekend workshop on the art and science of mud

building/sculpturing. Richard will show volunteers how to source,

test and make earth mortars, plasters, and masonry from materials

readily available beneath your feet; with the majority of materials

used sourced entirely from Scholey Park. Volunteers are encouraged to

come along and take part in the initial design session on the Friday

and contribute to the making of something beautiful and useful over

the duration of the weekend.

A huge thanks to you and the rest of the crew we had a wonderful time. The new site really is beautiful and you always lay on good weather for us. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

The site has a fair bit of Nature around so we were wondering if a guided talk/walk for kids and adults might be an idea. Kids love bugs and we know someone who would be perfect for it.

Sounds good please put us in touch!
