I know she toured last year but missed it, wouldn't mind seeing her. After You Tubing her 1995 appearance i think she would be damn good.

Add her to my list of:

Bjork

Radiohead

Led Zep

Stones

Florence

Pixies

I would however add that her latest album " White Chalk " is very haunting, written solely on a piano and a completely different direction. It reminds me a lot of Thom Yorkes Erasor, without any drums. This would have to be in the Acoustic tent if played next year, although it would be great. Although very very different its still packs a punch.

She has a new album? Do you mean the one that's 10 months old with John Parish?

Saw her twice this year, once with John Parish and once completely solo - without any other band members. It was amazing. It wasn't a cliched 'accoustic' set though, she was playing all the instruments one by one on stage. It was great.

She debuted a couple of new tunes at her solo show at Camp Bestival this year, sounded along the lines of White Chalk, might be new material next year

Would make a good Park Stage (solo) headliner too, though would like to see another big band performance by her sometime soon.

NEW PJ HARVEY ALBUM

We are very pleased to confirm that PJ Harvey's 8th studio album ‘Let England Shake’ will be released on the 14.02.2011. The album will be supported by a run of sold out live shows early next year. 2011 will also see Harvey return to the festival-stage, with more details to be announced. PJ Harvey will perform with a live band which includes Mick Harvey, John Parish and Jean-Marc Butty.

Emily's a fan I think, plus Polly was involved in the Glastonbury/Oxfam Haiti appeal last year. Maybe a good possibility for this year then with the new album.

pretty sure the last UK festival she played was camp bestival 09 (i was there) and her demands were literally for every other stage on the entire site to be practically silent whist she was playing......

great talent but i think unlikely for glasto. if she did it'd have to be park stage headliner, and yeah she wouldnt get a big crowd.
