Downloaded the new Amy Macdonald album for my daughter after she said she liked the song that was played on Soccer AM on saturday and surprisingly it isn't as shit as i thought it would be.

3 songs for me are:

Are we looking for a new announcment soon?

Trying not to sound like a total stato but the first announcement this year was 7th April - 18 bands. It was exactly the same date last year - 23 bands.

The second announcement last year was 14th May - 10 bands - so maybe later this week............?

I see Alabama 3, The Complete Stone Roses and Peatbog Faeries all playing Wizard later in August so they're ruled out. Any rumours?

neil hannon was amazing tonight. best gig in a long long time for me. will post up what i remember of the setlist in the morning. definitely coming to bella now!

only bettered by maybe the edinburgh wif with the full orchestra i used to play in one and realise how much he screwed them over (they read from music and he made a lot of mistakes) so funny and billy boyd reading the hobbit.

or barfly (3 piece and a tom lehrer song) but definetely up there with the best of them.

You don't remember if I were a dog i'd eat scraps from off your table and never once complain?

Wish I'd known you were going, could have shared a pint.

from the 4 shows, last night was the most full of mistakes. didn't matter though

nah, i could have shared a coke with you, i was driving but i forgot to go to the bar at all, and just sat there for an hour and a half waiting for him to come on.

aah, i knew i'd heard it before. never listen to the love album. it's pretty good too

yeah, he's much like rufus wainwright in his mistakes. it actually adds to the show if anything. they both take it well and can joke about it.

That would be great but can't see it happening. Those are pretty much headline type bands and I think the headliners are already nailed on.
