Weather thread 2010

It's been a glorious day up here in Northumberland with a real feel of Spring in the air. It's the first light at the end of a long cold Winter.

Yep the weather is definately getting warmer in Horsham.

Walking back from college today (I have to go during half term ) was actually quite pleasant and hot. It can only get better folks!

Quite agree that we are still waiting for the proper long hot rainfreee one.

I couldn't believe how hot and sunny it was last year. I remember in the week running up it looked like we could have heavy rain for most of it and only got that in the storm Thursday night (I think it was Thursday!).

I got home looking like I'd been in Spain for 2 weeks! Another one like that this year and I'll be a happy man.

My mind doesn't need to be changed - my salary does. I can't afford it next year.

I really do want to go every year, but I missed 2009 because I had a new baby boy to look after, and that will be the case next year and subsequent years.

It's simply a luxury we can't afford.

As for the weather, I have a very good omen. My garden is all dug up and an utter mess at the mo and i've got no cash to spend to make it usable again. Must mean it's odds on to be a scorching summer just to taunt me.

It's going to be hot yes I am ignoring the strong El Nino which was last in evendence in 1997 leading to the mud bath of 1998. This will be my last year for a while (hopefully new job ect.)

I have a weird gut feeling that it's gonna be a scorcher this year. We're all gonna come back with tans that rival David Dickinson's...well let's hope not! One thing's for sure - It's gonna be HOT HOT HOT!
