Kees van Hondt is carnavalesque. It's not really about anything, but it's just one big party. The twigs are a recent Lowlands phenomenon which just happened (one guy did it, then two, then everyone). At Kees however people always drag things into the tent to party with: twigs, matrasses, occasionally even the picknick benches. I suppose at Sziget he'll play fewer or no Dutch songs, but I'm sure it will be a big party again.

Have just bought our day tickets for the wednesday. Quick question: As I booked both of them, both pdf vouchers have my name on. Is this normal? We don't want to get there to find that one should have my girlfriends name on as one is for her.

anyone know when the next batch of bands/dance line up will be announced? Likin the line up so far but hoping that we've only seen half of it and that some big names are still to be announced!

Well, Dance stage lineup should be announced tomorrow or on Friday, but everyone is hoping that there will be many more announcements on main stage. There is not to much big names yet. If you look at the past years, they had much better lineups. But I have tickets already. Sziget is about atmosphere foremost

Well, it looks like there will be just one headliner if 30 Seconds to Mars isnt headliner. One headliner and one co-headliner and thats it. Bit retro this year...

Yeah, I think youre right if Day Zero is 10th August.

Valid from 11th August 06:00 a.m. to 16th August 08:00 a.m. You are not allowed to sleep in the festival ground and you are also not allowed to use the camping facilities with this ticket.

After a lot of juggling calendars and stuff, it looks like we will have to miss Sziget this year. It's not all bad news though, I tracked down the band I really wanted to see (and missed last year) and we're coming over in July to see them at the Campus Festival in Debrecen instead. Raaar! Tankcsapda!

I pretty sure the full week camping tickets have sold out in the past.

You would probably be able to buy day tickets on the gate, depends on what your planning really!

yeah i can't see i've noticed it selling out, from what i've seen the last 2 years you can buy day tickets on the gate easy enough. depends if you feel lucky punk, well do ya?!
