SEE YOU NEXT YEAR ……

For the lucky ones who got tickets to Bella this year before the event sold-out, the general opinion seems to be that it was a vintage to savour – warm, fruity and plenty of body. If you didn’t get a ticket, there’s always next year. The 2010 dates are 6th & 7th August and tickets go on sale in the autumn – in time to feature as that Christmas present for the boy/girl who has everything. From the whole Bella team, thanks to all whom came for being the happiest, politest, most laid-back and mellow crowd we can remember.

…..BUT UNTIL THEN

You don’t have to feel left out of the Bella community. Join BellaBook, our networking site, where you can create your own profile, download your photos and stay in touch with fellow Bellas. Also on the site now is a round-up of press and YouTube coverage which we will keep updated. See News and Views. If you still want to buy a T shirt, we will soon be adding a link for after-sales of merchandise. And please complete the audience survey (see link on front page of the web site www.tartanheartfestival.co.uk) – all entries will drawn for the lucky winner of two 2010 tickets.

NEXT UP – LOOPALLU

Friday 18th & Saturday 19th September

When most of the country are thinking of hanging up their wellies as festival season draws to a close, there’s still one little corner of the Highlands still partying well after the summer sun has gone down. Yes, of course its nearly time for Loopallu. Often fondly described as a family reunion you’d actually like to go to (!) five years on sees still more incredible talent wanting to make the long journey north. This year that includes the return of loveable indie urchins The View, Liverpools recently reformed Lightning Seeds, Neville Staple from The Specials with his band, young folksters Mumford & Sons and Kid British to name but a few. But with only 2500 tickets available, don’t leave it until the last minute as they usual sell out in advance!! Tickets from www.thebooth.co.uk
