Hi All

Just wondered if those of you who attended last year found sound levels on the garden stage inconsistent. I was dead centre for all the acts so my location was constant, but... Conor Oberst and Mercury Rev were loud (in a good, good way) while BSP on the Sat and Calexico on the Sun were muted and made me wanna holler 'turn it up'. I know different acts have different preferences for sound levels but, to my ears, the gulf in respective volumes was wide and all four mentioned above usually play noisy. Anyone else notice this? I mention it as a minor quibble during an otherwise perfect weekend – just hoping that if it was a technical thing they get it sorted this year... and definitely err on the side of louder (pretty please).

Anyway, big up the organisers – can't wait for September...
