Anyone want to buy a tent?

A few weeks ago I bought a 3 man tunnel tent as there were only 2 of us going. There are now more than the initial 2!

I therefore am looking to sell the tent as I need to buy a 5 man tent!

Its a Gelert Nimbus 3 (although it is now called the Stratus 3 on the Gelert website - the spec is exactly the same).

The suggested retail price is £129.99 - if there is anyone in the Wakefield/Leeds area who is interested (too heavy to post really - 8.75kg), its yours for the bargain basement price of £50.

This tent has yet to be taken from its bag so is in pristine condition.

Sell it on Ebay m8, there's 1 on there for £80.

I'll give the exchange/gift vouchers approach a go but I don't hold out much hope as the retailers T&C's state "You are free to return unwanted goods in a new and unused condition within 28 days of delivery for an exchange or for a refund."

I can at least try for nothing.

But in the meantime, if anyone is interested............sensible offers may be considered!

Rather than sell this and buy a 5 man tent, why not get your mates to buy a 3 man tent as well? Will probably work out the same price if you take in to consideration the loss on selling this tent.

Managed to sell the tent at work - needed to sell it this week as there's an absolute bargain available at Go Outdoors - its a Vango Venture 500 & is only available for £59.99 instead of £150.

If anyone is interested these tents are available until Sunday both online & in stores.
