Alcohol in main areas such as pyramid

I know this might sound daft, but is it like Leeds etc where you can't take your alcohol into the main areas? Or can you carry your drinks everywhere. Just planning on how much money/alcohol to take! Thanks in advance.

This is the main reason that after ten years of Glasto all other festivals are a bit of a let down with all their "rules!"

I just LOVE threads like this! It reminds me of how ace Glasto is... just take your own booze, no big beer company insisting on gates around the stages, everything spread out across the site... I'm planning a "pub" crawl this year with my own beer

The only place you can't wonder in swigging your own is actually the bars themselves (though doing that at the hare krishna tent might not be 'quite on')

I just carry a box of wine everywhere with me, it never leaves my side
