Bonfire Displays

Is it really going to stop the idiots who want to burn their tents/blow up canisters etc? For them to have an official bonfire on the last night is going to mean massive health and safety issues, they won't allow anyone to put their rubbish on the bonfire or anything, so I can't see it solving that particular problem.

I will, however, enjoy a good firework display if they put one on.

What does anyone else think?

Without trying to be too cynical, firework displays are expensive and usually very short-lived. I've been to some big ones on Bonfire Night and they last between 5-10 mins. I don't believe this will stop people from making big bonfires...

But I think that a firework display after the last band on the Sunday will be good. They sometimes have them behind the Main Stage anyway.
