balti-pie
29 minutes ago, Hugh Jass said: Seconded, best football food there is. i feel like this is at least a reflected glory review of me, and as such im smiling beatifically 😊 i havnt found a decent balti pie at the fest yet - back when Pieminister had a stall they didnt really run the full gamut of their different pies, cos their thai green curry pie is excellent, but they didnt serve any, preferring to stay with yer core menu pie range. Square pie havnt been there the last couple of times i think and they also didnt/dont do a curry pie either. Id love to see the classic scottish macaroni pie in attendance - thats a fucking great pie that i initially wrote off as being too stodgy - i think with the amount of exercise glastonbury involves there is no such thing as too much stodge. I'll be conducting a full pie review post-festival, dont you worry. i'd hope to get through a bare minimum of three pies, potentially more as i'm volunteering so should be on site from monday. Its almost more of a food festival than music for me these days . . .

I just sort of comment when a comment comes into my head while on any thread, sort of thing. I can see how that could be seen as annoying now though. I don't know what to do. If I ask you all do you want me to 'fuck off', you'll only say 'yes', and then where will I be!?

Acht that’s a shame. Always great food and really friendly folk. They used to have space at their original Kendal calling spot for some open mic action and visited them at Glastonbury anytime I passed. True story, they were at T in the park years back and various folk in front of us in a long queue walked away raging after getting to the front to be told there was no chicken 😃 All the best to them in whatever they do next. Before this year, at my football club you get a choice of a steak pie that's somehow frozen inside but burnt on the outside or a yorkie. Things have now improved.
