What do people even mean by up-to-date? Bruce Springsteen's last album was number one in the UK for two weeks, and hit the top spot in the States and most of mainland Europe. It was released last month.

Isn't that up to date?

There are a load of threads like this in the main Glasto forum by the way.

huge bands, whether my favourite genres or not they will pull huge crowds and will be amazing for those who watch them (hopefully of course)

there have been far too many "up to date" bands headlining recently and they haven't proved themselves at all;

AM - i quite liked them but certainly did not have stage present

The Killers - was dragged along when i was pissed and they certainly weren't worth the headline slot

Kings of leon - being a fan of the first 2 albums and having seen them before, i thought they'd pull it off well they never

Not to be an arse but you'd much prefer a R/L based line up

Yeah I agree to some extent. I'm happy personally cos I want to see Bruce and Blur, but was surprised to see 2 golden oldie solo males taking up headline slots.

I'm just saying, if you're expecting intelligent responses to an opinion don't bother posting on these boards. If you're happy with one liners like, "go to Reading,", "you're talking sh|t," or "go to your bedroom and have a w@nk", then i highly recommend these forums. (just a few things that were said to me because i don't happen to be a big Neil Young fan - i didn't even say i disliked him!!!)
