New collaborations with Lee Pattison and Grayson Shipley as Idiotproof and Deepgroove & Jamie Anderson; new projects with Dave Angel; alongside his solo productions, we are set to hear some of Jamie's finest music to date. Releases have recently been signed to Radio Slave's Rekids label, Jesse Rose' Made To Play and a new album on Alter Ego's Klang Elektronik. The latest string of remixes have included AVH, Alter Ego and Audio Bullys. Recognized as a pioneer of the Tech-House sound, Jamie Anderson is one of the UK’s most prolific house music producers and has been on the international DJ circuit for well over 10 years. Coming from a strong musical background growing up and training with jazz musicians in West London, Jamie started his synthesizer and record collection back in the early 1980’s. In 1986 Jamie moved to Bristol, one of the most buzzing and musically influential cities in the UK. Here he continued his keyboard training with renowned jazz pianist Dave Buxton and performed as a keyboard player for a number of bands during the early 1990’s. With a strong catalogue of studio productions Jamie Anderson founded the Artform label and made his debut solo release with the “Prototype EP” in 1997. This led to Jamie signing to Orlando Voorn’s infamous Slam Dunk label and to Dave Angel’s highly respected Rotation label with a number of top-selling tracks and remixes. He continued to release his most experimental and pioneering works on Artform, culminating in a series of highly acclaimed releases, including the ‘Abstract Latinism’ series, ‘Can’t Stop’ and ‘Dreams’. By 1999 the label was a huge success, with many of the releases being signed to major labels and numerous big-name DJ mix compilations. In 2001 Jamie signed to the NRK record label for the release of his debut artist album ‘Blue Music’, the ‘NRK Singles Collection Vol. 4’ Mix CD and ‘Nite:life 013’ Mix CD. These were then followed by a succession of hot productions on the label including his massive ‘Black Sun’ single and infectious Twisted Pair ‘Horny Hustle’ remixes. During this time Jamie also gained global recognition for his productions on Hooj, Front Room, Outland and 100% Pure record labels which furthered his fan-base and gave him the opportunity to continue performing his DJ skills while on a consistent world tour. With regular appearances at the mid 90’s super-club; Lakota, to high-profile performances at the Love Parade San Francisco, Dance Valley Festival, Pacha Buenos Aires, Zouk Singapore and Loveland in Holland, Jamie has established himself internationally as a highly respected and in-demand artist. http://www.club-headway.co.uk http://www.dj-jamieanderson.co.uk http://www.myspace.com/thereadingrooms http://www.myspace.com/clubheadway http://www.bebo.com/clubheadway
