I'm ment to be driving to Glasto from Liverpool, just wondering is there any lockers you can rent so I don't run the risk of loosing my keys?

Put thm in one of the lock-ups. Marquees with loads of safe & secure storage. I used them last year for all my valuables, it was wonderful knowing I wasn't going to lose or use all my cash & stuff all in one go!

They are open 24 hours and they don't charge although donations are normally the way to go. This is the best place to store your cash aswell. Put your valuables into a bag and take them to the lock-ups, they will give you a ticket which allows you to come back whenever you want and take things out of your bag etc.

what happens if you lose your ticket (I lose everthing... )

They actually have a full record of you. Name address etc. Not exactly sure how it works if you lose a ticket. You would keep the ticket well hidden in your tent.

yeah, all you really need is the ticket number.

as CS says, they take down your details so as long as you can tell them this info and describe whatever it is you've put in there you'll get your stuff back.

Whereabouts are the marquees? I may use the lockers this year too...

how big are these lockers, just roughly? basically need to fit as much into these things as possible (no car, coming from overseas and will have a lot of precious shit that i would be absolutely f**kED without)

they're not actually lockers, its a big tent full of steel cages/shelves. you can put as much as you like in, some people put their bikes in.

your stuff will be marked with a tag with your details and you get the other half of the tag.

its perfectly safe, the tents are manned 24 hours and you can't actually go in, you just hand in your stuff to the staff at a table in the doorway. there's never been any thefts from these.

I think they're all run by Friends Of The Earth, so definately worth bunging 'em a few quid.
