markdoe
I'm probably going to bike to Glastonbury... is there somewhere to keep my bike where it won't get stolen? Obviously I've gotta bike back, too! I've never been to glastonbury before. Or any giant music fest for that matter. Or the UK, for that matter. Thanks! mikeb
Hmmmmm, are we talking a bike as in "2 wheels and a pair of legs/feet for propulsion" aka bicycle or bike as in "2 wheels with an engine equivalent to the power of a shedload of horses" aka motorcycle here because as a rider of both, whilst I always know exactly what I mean and which one I happen to be referring to when talking about "the bike", no one else ever seems to for some strange reason If it's a bicycle then as previously mentioned the Lock-Ups are your friend. However, if it's a motorcycle then ariving at PGA, parking the bike in the secure compound that is usually somewhere around there and leaving your biking gear in the lock-up just inside PGA is the way to go. Need to make sure you have a chunk of wood or a metal plate or similar to put under the stand though as it's usually on soft ground rather than hard-standing. Either way, there is free and safe storage/parking available on site so no real problems.
