trouble buying a ticket with credit card

i am trying to buy a ticket online with my credit card, but it is saying that a debit card is required.

However in the FAQ's area, it says that people outside of the UK can use a credit card.

Its not working. What do i do? i want a ticket!!

As far as I know you aren't allowed to pay with credit cards. Probably something to do with making sure people have enough money to actually buy the tickets.

Are you a foreign national trying to buy with a CC from within the UK? Or are you outside the UK?

Did you register with an address outside the UK?

Then you should have no issues. Have you tried phoning the international line 0044 1159 934 183?

Funny, I had the opposite problem.

I'm registered outside the UK but live here now and paid the deposit from Australia with an Australian credit card. I just paid the balance with a UK debit card and had no problems at all. Apparently people registered outside the UK can only pay with CC...

I had this same problem trying to buy from the U.S. I ended up having to buy a calling card and call from work, haha (no landline at home). I sent seetickets an e-mail telling them about the problem, and they said they fixed it but I guess they were wrong. Good luck!

09 will be my fourth Glasto, my first as a UK resident. I'm so so so relieved I don't have to go through any of that ticket collection malarky this time. Good luck +1!
