Pohoda Festival

Hello, Im thinking of going to Pohoda in slovakia this year but wanted to kow if anyone else has been? If so whats their thoughts on it and is it a good one to go to?

Never been to Pohoda before, went to Open Er Last year and had a great time, I've caught the bug.

the website is pretty vague! so not sure what day to arrive and leave. have tickets though so all is looking good! whats your plans?

Currently searching for cheap flights, probably get to Bratislava about mid day on the Thursday and get a train to Trecin. Return late on the sunday

i was thinking arrive mid day wednesday and come back monday morning. If all the action is starting on the Thursday im assuming the campsite opens on wednesday? If not the streets are calling!!

Hey people. I went to exit last year then travelled up to pohoda. Both great festivals - would def reccommend pohoda, we went last year not having a clue what it was about or if it would be any good, I actually started a thread on here that nobody replied to! But the line up was good, weather great, people friendly, very cheap - good atmosphere - only 2 nights though but def worth checking out. We are actually considering doing the same trip this year but still thinking of final plans. Exit, Beni, Pohoda, Ibiza after Beni??!! So much to consider, can't do it all though unfortunately due to financial constraints!!

Ya its on lastminute.com if you buy one normal ticket u get the other for a tenner. bargain!

Are you sure those £10 tickets arent just a one day ticket for the 18th thats the only date that is mentiond beside that price on lastminute and the £39 tickets say there for 17th & 18th?

Well me and my mates have now bought 5 of them and the text clearly says weekend ticket with camping so I'm going to try my luck.

Yeah it definitely says weekend pass including camping so heres hoping! also on the standard ticket form it just says 17th and 18th not taking into account the extra day has been added this year! hopefully just an oversight from lastminute and i wont be searching a slovakian dictionary for 'let me in' and 'dont you know who i am?'

I´ve been to Pohoda and its a great festival, which goes for three days( from this year on)

Line-up will be great, I´m sure.

Pretty cheap, nice girls,well organised and tidy(WC- always ok)

OK - the campsite is officially opening on Thursday 16th at 18.00hrs. The first band is on at 22.00hrs. And the festival organisers have booked all the hotels in town for artists and crew. So it's looking a bit tight in terms of arriving early.

The good news is that weekend tickets bought from lastminute are valid for the three days, not just the 17th and 18th as stated on the website.

Cheers for that, and the £10 tickets are valid yes? Looks like ill be on the streets on the 15th then, maybe bratislava may be a better bet that night!

I'm a little confused by the Pohoda website.

Why do updates about the Prodigy, Travis and Emiliana Torini keep popping up? Are they playing? If so why are they not on the artists page?

Only 124 days.

P.S. I'm really getting into Vlasta Tresnak and Hudba z Marsu.
