I'm off on my travels going to Amsterdam tomorrow so I hope everyone has a brilliant time and has (without question) a cracker!

Showers are separate and they are private cabins anyway. At least they were when I last showered at Lowlands but that's a few years ago. Some girls choose to shower with the guys because the queue is much shorter. Showers cost one munt (two quid).

If you insist on showering, I can recommend doing it at night, upon getting back to your tent. Not that you'll feel like it by then, but it'd save you the huge morning queues; there are none to speak off at night (unsurprisingly ).

Hey all,

another question for those who have been before! Was just wondering what the showers are like, are they separated for males and females and are they individual? Just wondering if I need to bring a swimsuit to preserve my dignity!!

Most of them are only open from 07:00 to 21:00, but campsites 3 and 5 are open 24 hours. Maybe a bit further to walk, but if you insist on showering...

Weather alert for Lowlands

Tomorrow will start perfect with 30+ degrees, but in the afternoon or early evening the Dutch weather service expects:

- heavy squalls up to 110km/h (Beaufort 11)

- severe thunder and lightning

- hail storms

- heavy rainfall

Bring extra pegs if you still can!

YO! Back from my euro trip, had a cracking time at lowlands this year. good festival although not enough chaos in the campsites, too chilled almost! Brilliant time tho.

People's fave acts?

For me it was definitely Kassabian, Klaxons, Kaisers, Delain and Hang Hai

What a great festival! Highlight for me was definitely Snoop! -so professional, all the classics, walking around the stage with a big weed plant and passing round a giant spliff- gold! Boys Noize at 3am-5am on the final night was an intense finish to the festival too- like a chainsaw to your brain but awesome!
