ampersand
has beens and really poor live. and i love their stuff pre-stadium arcadium.
johnmcga
I've only seen them once (Reading 2007), and they were dire. I wouldn't go anywhere near the Pyramid if they were on. It was a really disjointed, self-indulgent, piss-poor performance, all in front of probably the biggest crowd at the festival that year. Rubbish. So as you can probably tell, I won't be holding out too much hope that they'll be playing
hatethisandillloveyou
saw them at reading a few years ago. was really looking forward to seeing them and i was thoroughly dissappointed
Sparticus
they offered to play for free in 07? so obviously glasto must be on their hit list. I thought titp 06 was really average until i saw them piss all over their legacy at leeds 07, god awful! You'd think after 20 odd years in the biz they'd figure out how to write a setlist, don't think i've ever heard a headliner get booed until john fusciente came back on, pissed about a bit, started playing under the bridge then faded out. The last act of the weekend and they tease you with their biggest hits whilst unleashing a crapload of stadium arcadium. That being said, i'd still go see them again if they played areoplane, tune! micawber
Gave them a wide berth at Reading in 07 having been appalled at their Earls Court gig. They really need at least 5 years off - preferably 10 - before trying again.
benisright
I was so dissappointed after their set at reading 07 that i had to go to bed early.
Joshuwarr
They had been my favourite band for years up until about 2005 so I thought I'd watch them at Reading as a kind of tribute to my former self (lol) and it was such a shame to see a band onstage putting on such a half hearted performance. Actually, John was f**king great but the others were shit.
Red Day
I've seen them outdoors twice and both times they have been awful. First class at SECC but at T a few years back I left after about 5 songs, they honestly were THAT bad. If they play Glasto I wouldn't go near them
elfimaju
They also don't strike me as people who would play as 'co-headliners' with anyone and given the headliners are looking increasingly nailed on, I think that rules them out anyway..........thankfully if you ask me
ivan
From what I read , the band were very tired after the Stadium Arcadiam world tour , and are taking a long break. I saw them at Leeds , which was their final gig of the tour - watched 10 mins before I was bored out of my mind and went to watch The View. I knew I would be bored , but was surprised I lasted 10 mins ! , thought it would be 5 ! But thats because they had a 5 min waffle intro without Tony on stage ! MJMilz14
Waited to see them for years and years, was so excited when they got announced for Reading. They were a shambles, so much so, that if they played at my local arena, I wouldn't go, even though its only 5 minutes down the road. People say Razorlight shouldn't have headlined that year, and I agree with that sentiment, but they were a damn sight better than the Chillis. I still regret seeing them, knowing that Biffy,We are Scientists and the View were all playing on the NME stage. Shockingly bad.

vicky=)
No chance i'm thinking, Glad they didn't play 07' they are not exactly a glastonbury band, not that there is really a glastonbury band type, but you know what i mean

darrenbha
last good chilis gig i saw was a long way back at a far from sold out wembley arena with no doubt and symposium supporting, since then when i've seen them they've been at best average

usatoglas
how the demise of the chili's saddens me. Thye have produced possibly the 2 best gigs I have ever seen (mothers milk tour at the astoria and one hot minute with navarro at wembley) but have let themselves down over the last few years with well below par performances with reading 07 being utter garbage. However, the frusciante/venetian snares thang looks promising.
Indiekid
Just keep them away, bring John Frusciante, keep the singer away, can not hold a note.... Good autobiography though
