Apart from Amon Amarth and Volbeat there doesn't seem to be very much overlap between the European festivals so why would that be a comparison for Download?

The METALTOWN fest in Sweden looks good, throw in Cathedral and Dream Theatre that would be a nice few to add into the Download lineup

All I said was these acts are playing festivals, its not a definate just something to talk over, I never said its a comparison, I said some of these acts MIGHT be playing download, just a bit of fun really, to get some talking going on at this dull period on these boards

Heaven and Hell look like a good bet, I dunno if they could quite get a headliner spot, but 'Special Guest' status ala Judas Priest this year is probable.
