what's changed?

I'm planning on going in 2009 and i'm interested to hear whats changed since last time i went (2003).

I was a fairly regular glasto goer (2000/2002/2003) but not been since

All i've heard is its got a bit bigger, and there's a monorail...

TBH

The major stuff has not changed !

The stages , market areas , theatre district , glade etc are still all there.

The dance tent has now been replaced with an East and West along with a few other stages.

The New Bands Tent has moved , is now the John Peel , and is a lot bigger and less concerned with new bands

imo.

We now have The Park which is to the right of the Stone Circle (looking up the hill ). That has caused a bit of a stir cos you can def hear

acts on The Park Stage when you are sat up at the Stone Circle and in the Green Fields. I like Dizzee Rascal , but

not everyone in the Green Fields wanted to hear him in the early hours this year !

There is more camping , and it does seem to be a bit less chocca in the camping areas !

yeah the Park is the big change. Randomly caught Franz Ferdinand and the Last Shadow Puppets on there this year. Apart from that same old vibe, love it!

Lost Vagueness has gone and been replaced by Shangri-La....and the teepee field has moved from opposite LV to an area above the Park field...old teepee area is now occupied by the mighty Trash City...which is almost worth the ticket cost alone...

Noting has changed at all in fact if you get your 2003 programme out it will tell you all the bands that are going to be on this year!

I heard they wont be bringing the Monorail back as the crash totally destroyed the rail and it was too expensive to replace it.

There will be teleporters at various marked locations instead this year!
