clicky - minor spoilers

A mate of mine gave me the heads up on this one a coupla weeks ago, and I downloaded it that day. I only actually got round to watching ep1 today, and coincidentally it premiered on FX last night apparently. Its about

a 50 year old chemistry teacher who finds out he has lung cancer- he is broke, has a disabled son, and in his moment of emancipation he decides to operate a meth lab.

it appears to be heading somewhere between "Falling Down" and "The Bucket List". I was really impressed by the first ep (there are only 7 episodes).

I noticed modey has already downloaded it from the same place as me

anyone else watched it?

Watched the first two episodes of Breaking Bad last night, couldn't make up my mind if I like it or not yet but will watch the rest of it over the weekend. Where is the main guy from ??

Anybody seen a US show called The Middleman?

Yes watched the first ten episodes it is very quirky and fun but must admit only watch it when I've watched everything else

finished watching BB last night, watched the last 4 back to back. no real sense of closure so they obviously have another series planned. I was just hoping for a finale and it didnt really come.

There is a second series planned.

Going to watch the third episode tonight.

Season two

AMC announced on May 16, 2008 that Breaking Bad will be renewed for a 13-episode second season set to premiere in early 2009.

"From critical praise to strong ratings and devoted audience, Breaking Bad further reinforced AMC as a top producer of high-quality, distinctive television", said Charlie Collier, Executive Vice President and General Manager of AMC. "Breaking Bad is a powerful, intelligent thought-provoking series that clearly resonates with viewers and critics alike. We're excited for a second season of Breaking Bad with a new provocative storyline that will delve deeper into the next chapter of the life of Walter White".
