5co77ie
After waiting to be towed for hours - and giving my arms a good work out pushing people out - I'd like to suggest that the second car park has some metal tracking next year around the outer edge it would make life much easier! Tiggrim
I was happy to help others get their vehicles out, as other kind festival goers helped me get my car out too but something definitely needs to be done about better parking for next year. Also there weren't any festival marshalls in sight on the Monday, just one peeved looking policeman. Bit of communication and responsibility from the organizers might have prevented so many people being left stranded for hours Although some of the food on offer was nice, it was over-priced - Lets have a festival more for the people, and not get bogged down with commercialism. Just an idea. Probably naive of me I know. On a positive note many of the bands playing were good and there was a really great atmosphere, despite the rain and huge masses of mud. I only heard one child crying on the last day and there was no "I want, I want" from kids (or adults) either. The signs for the festival were distinctly lacking in essential places. All in all I enjoyed my first Beautiful Days experience and would more than likely go again next year. I would like to say a big thank you to the people who helped push my car out and to the couple who left early and gave us food and a bag of wine before they went
technowomble
I walked through the East car park on Monday morning at about 7 on my way to the train station, and it was a bog. The cars there were just spinning their wheels like nobody's business. Okay, I do sympathise with people stuck there, but never owning a car I did chuckle to myself. And then I almost slipped over...
