Ahh - not the same people.

That'd be Pronghorn ( who I compere etc for, but don't play with - so to speak :O ) - Boot Hill is a different band/different people.

- yes to all those, plus plenty of bouncing, jigging, audience participation and ladies in feathers.

There are several other bands associated with members of Pronghorn

Cash Converted -top class Johnny Cash Tribute

Cropdusters - grandaddies of them all

The Highliners - grand Psychobilly band - one of the originals and imo one of the best.

Guns of Navarone - Newly formed traditional ska band playing old style ska tunes - supporting The Beat in Frome on the anniversery tour.

Farmergeddon - uncharted territory for me I'm afraid, but hopefully to be remedied next year.

:D

The children’s area is being run by MAJICAL YOUTH and the Heage out of School Club for 2009. As you can appreciate this shows how much investment we are putting in to the children’s village for 2009. Majical Youth run Beautiful Days children’s area and a few other festivals. A big coup for a small event!!

Disabled Area,

This will be a fully managed area, with fridges for medicines etc.

We also have a team setting up camping equipment such as tents, airbeds and sleeping bags for people who have difficulty getting their own camping equipment to the festival. This is a free service and you do not need your own camping stuff.

If you want to bring your own but need assistance we will have people to set it all up for you.

The site will have a disabled viewing platform and roading put in to the main arena for easy access on wheel chairs.

The beer tent will be huge and have lots of low level tables and comfy chairs as well as hosting a chill out DJ and on the Friday night expect to hear the best tunes from the 1920`s charleston stylee!!!

Childrens Area

We are over the moon that Majical Youth Theatre will be running the childrens area in 2009, They have decades of experience and do a wonderful job at other festivals such as Beautiful Days.

The children’s area will be expanded into a 1 acre space where we have everything from children’s carnivals, story tellers, children’s arcade, parachute, junk modeling, skiffle workshops, environmental talks, forest schools, children’s open mic tent, children’s disco tent, solar cinema, scavenger hunts, nature trails and so much more. The area will be huge and every children’s activity will be FREE.

Street Team & Stage Name News

The whole flyer affair turned out to be very messy due to printing companies letting us down, but finally they arrived and we have decided to extend Christmas so Santa can be seen in January!!!!

The Main Stage name was drawn out of a hat from all the fantastic volunteers who agreed to hand out flyers, the winner was Aly Kimber and the stage has been named THE GREENFAIRY STAGE.

We are looking for volunteers to hand out flyers and put posters up around Derbyshire. Please email us if you can dedicate time to do this. If you can help us we will reward you. Send an email to rich@beardedtheory.co.uk for more details. The flyers will arrive well in advance this time!!!

Please come and support the event, support the charities we give to and let’s have a dance for charity!! For the latest information, please visit www.beardedtheory.co.uk
