greeneyes1980
I think so too - but the english press will adopt him as a brit if he gets to the final. The guy's a proud scot and that's good enough for me!
ben_cosmia
He would not have gone into that game needing to prove himself, he did not bother too much. However if you watch the match and understand who Murray is, you would know that he gave as much as he could in the game and tried to win, just he hadnt prepared properly. The olympics literally isnt the pinnacle of the sport, the ranking points on offer are half that of a grand slam. And to me he is british if he wins and scottish if he wins. i do not mind, i actually like both the tennis he plays and the person he is. If he was American i would support him. Just handy that i can link my nationality to his.
harper11
he played bloody well so far against nadal best ive seen hime play playing very very deep with great ground strokes olympics isnt the pinnacle in tennis the masters events are probably taken more seriously but in many sports the olympics isnt top like football, cycling, sailing ect
Cardboard Box City
the reporter asked him if he would be supporting scotland at the world cup. it was said in jest.
llcoolphil
He jokingly said "anyone but England" in reply to that comment. Looking forward to tonight myself
Cardboard Box City
I never knew that Murray went to Dunblane Primary School at the time of the massacre, and even went to a group run by the bloke who did it

worm
Was incredible how comprehensively Murray was outplaying Nadal though. In the space of a year,Murray has gone from outside the top 20 I think, to the 4th best in the world. There's not much in it between him and Djokovic either.
