I can't find anything, so following the questions earlier on, about what the fields are like, and tickets etc, I've created this post which I hope will help. Tickets. Ticket email trail - 1st email, following payment of the deposit on Tday You have booked to attend GLASTONBURY 2017 at Worthy Farm, Pilton-Somerset on 23-25 June 2017. Gates open Wednesday 21st June. You have ordered the following tickets Order Reference: 41934644 6 deposits at £50 (Booked on Sunday 9th October 2016) The deposit(s) you have paid for have been assigned to the following registration(s) xxxxxxxx - Mr Joe Bloggs1 xxxxxxxx - Mr Joe Bloggs2 xxxxxxxx - Mrs Jane Bloggs1 xxxxxxxx - Mr Joe Bloggs3 xxxxxxxx - Mr Joe Bloggs4 xxxxxxxx - Mr Joe Bloggs5 You have been charged a total of £300.00 and this will appear on your statement as TICKETS 08712200260 2nd email following payment of the balance, in April BOOKING REFERENCE 44338883. You have been charged a total of £103.00 and this will appear on your statement as 'TICKETS 08712200260' Despatch email Despite the tickets and the CV tickets having different order references, all the paper copies, including the CV field ticket, and the order emails from See all have the original balance payment reference on. Not only that, but the email below only mentions 2 tickets, yet I got the CV ticket in the same envelope AND the website said it was still awaiting despatch... We are writing to confirm the despatch of your recent order. The order details are as below - Order reference 44338883 2 tickets (numbers 712113-712114) for GLASTONBURY 2017 on 21st - 25th June 2017 Your Tickets were despatched on Friday 2nd June 2017 They were sent by Secure Delivery postage and should be with you in the next 2-3 days. Hi All Please kindly post here to confirm when the CV East (And West) CV Fields are opened on Tuesday. Due to open at noon but in some years it has happened earlier than that. Decent chance that will happen tomorrow to reduce the security check backlog. This will help greatly with timing the final part of the journey to the gates! Have a great festival everyone!
The CV ticket system with a printed name is still new and hasn't been tested fully due to the weather havoc last year, so they may change the rules on use and transfer. For info this year on transferring, I rang See this week and was advised that I should email firstname.lastname@example.org giving the CV ticket reference and the registration details and names of me and my cousin (I have the ticket, and want to transfer to him in case I now can't go, and we are in the same ticket group). I was also told that I should give explicit authority in the email for the fee to be taken off the card used to pay for the ticket, but not to supply card details within the email. So far, so good. However, to give hope to anyone who is arriving in a van before the CV ticket holder, I've received an email saying the tickets are being printed and can't now be transferred, but if I take the booking emails for both the festival ticket sale and the CV ticket sale, they would let me in. Now, I'm backing that up by printing this See email with that information in, but if you are in the same ticket group, this should work for you too without the additional See confirmation. Edit - take the CV ticket too, obvs.
