Hi, It appears that for my first time at Westfest, I'll be going alone as none of my friends like the same music as me! Is anyone else in the same boat as me? Would anyone like to meetup at the festival? Doesn't have to be for a long amount of time Thanks, Stephen
  5. Hi guys, who's planning to go Burning Man 2017? I made up my mind to do less UK festivals next year (going only junction 2 and Glastonbury) and no more trips around Europe to save money for Burning Man. Guys who already been to Burning Man it would be amazing if you could share your experiences, tips and suggestions. How much does it cost to do it if you travel from UK? Also is the ticket system similar to Glastonbury? I read all the info on burning man website but it is still a bit unclear!

    V Festival shrinking!

Wow - compare last years map with this year! No yellow, grey or green campsites. Purple, gold and blue smaller. Less car parks. Looks like there are only 3 bars this year - compared to 7 last year. And fewer toilet blocks too. Looks like the MTV stage is being put back to where it was in the early days - which means you won't have to cross that road. Interesting. Feels like the beginning of the end...... what do others think?

Hey guys and girls, I'm going to wireless alone because my friend bailed on buying her ticket. So I'll be attending on Saturday and Sunday and was hoping anyone else who is also going alone would meet up with me. I'm just looking to enjoy the music, have a lit time and enjoy the couple of days.

    Clash Decisions

For those with clash decisions to make, who did you decide on in the end? How was it? And for those who went the other way, please tell us how terrible the other act was! For me the main clashes were: Run the Jewels / Badbadnotgood. Went with the latter because I hadn't seen them before and have tickets for RTJ in November. They were super good so glad I did. Really good live performance. Was surprised there was no appearance from Samuel T. Herring for their song together, but hey ho. Avalanches / DJ Shadow. Went with Shadow. Don't think I've ever felt bass like that in my life. But all other sound was clear too so it was all good. The sound rearranged my brain I think. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Also had my fingers crossed for a RTJ appearance but it didn't happen. Was incredible anyway. I reckon if Toots had shown up I may have stuck around West Holts for Avalanches as DJ Shadow is playing here in October... Midland / Daniel Avery. Stuck with my original plan of Fort Romeau/Jennifer Cardini into Daniel Avery. I've seen Daniel Avery on several occasions before but my super-fan brothers have not. It was a hard one because I haven't made it to NYC Downlow before and love Midland but the brotherly love won that battle. I have no regrets at all really. I wish I could divide myself into 3 but I had a good time from start to finish as 1.

    Festaff volunteers

Wanted to see glastonbury from a different perspective so decided to apply for festaff. Super excited that they've offered me work for glasto and IOW. Look forward to be allowed on site before the crowds arrive. I've heard only good things about festaff at glasto, has anybody else got work with them? Also what's the IOW Fest like?
