  1. We did this last year. My friend took his van along with our tent and all our stuff on the Tuesday. He very kindly put up our tent next to his van and then we arrived on the Wednesday morning, parked up and walked down to join them. The campervan fields are massive so I'd recommend using the ‘what3words’ app to help your friends find where you are. The campervan fields are technically off site so none of you will get wristbands until you go into the site itself on the Wednesday. You’ll need to keep your ticket with you and when you go back after each day you’ll go back through the gate and will be given a paper pass out, which you’ll need to keep alongside your ticket for getting back in the following day
  2. Exactly this. Feels like a treat when you go into one that doesn't need a wipe down before you use it 🤣
  3. We're doing this too. Are there a few paths into the CV field or just one entrance? And is it easy to find from the carpark? We're planning to use the what3words app to find the van itself
  4. We're going to be joining some friends who are staying in CV East this year, pitching a tent on their pitch. We're planning to park up at one of the car parks nearest to the CV field on Wednesday morning. Is it obvious how to get into the CV fields from the car parks?
  5. Does anyone have any experience of getting a car parking ticket on the day? One of our group's campervan is having a bit of engine trouble and they might need to drive and camp in general camping but won't find out until later next week, by which time it'll be too late to get a pass posted out. Thanks in advance 😊
  6. We're doing that this year. Is it obvious from the car parks as to how to get into CV East?
  7. Thank you very much for your help. I hadn't appreciated that we'd be camping outside the fence! Does this mean that we could get to them before the gates officially open on the Wednesday?
  8. Ah, that's fab. So you don't need to get a wristband before going into the campervan fields?
  9. Hi! We've been to the festival a fair few times but for the first time this year we're planning to pitch our tent on our friends' East campervan pitch and are wondering about the logistics of getting to them on the Wednesday as they'll have arrived on the Tuesday evening. Do we park up in general car parking and then head into the main site via pedestrian gate C (hopefully as that seems nearest) and then head out towards the campervan fields via the same gate or is there a separate entrance for the campervan fields? Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂
