  1. So I've had an email from See saying they were despatched today, does this mean they're coming tomorrow...? Was planning to go into the office but I may have to sit by the window waiting for the postman if it's tomorrow!
  2. I might be totally making this up but was there a one-way system introduced in 2019 (or maybe 2017)? Could just have been security having us on but I distinctly remember being told one of the nights last festival that I wasn't allowed to go 'back' to The Common after I'd been in Shangri-La. Hoping it was some rogue security guards or they scrapped it because it was a bloody trek walking all the way back round through Block 9!
  3. Despite checking basically every day this is also me. It's almost like looking all the time doesn't speed anything up...
  4. +1 on the Copperdollar! Had some great times there! When did it go I can't even remember when I saw it last in The Common?

    Sober times

I absolutely love a drink and generally Glasto for me is a bit of a blur to be honest and probably about half the time I'm either hungover or filled with the anxiety/dread that proceeds it for me. This year as we're bringing our little girl I'll certainly still have one or two but obviously can't go too wild most of the time and I'm looking forward to having a different perspective on the festival! Will be nice to explore more of the daytime areas and have a more wholesome day than the debauchery of the past!
  6. Don't know if I'm mis-remembering 2019 (it's quite possible) but I felt like there was less of the smaller venues in the SE Corner last time. In the past whenever there were massive queues for the bigger stages like the Temple there was always a smaller venue with something good on to fall back on but I didn't find those little gems in 2019 like in past years. Is it maybe the layout change that threw me a bit or has there actually been a change to remove some of the venues from the previous years?
  7. Ah man I love seeing the maps over the years and how it's changed/expanded. Almost more excited for the new map (especially with some apparently big changes) than some of the area announcements!
  8. We went on Friday afternoon and it was open but still didn't look properly finished, like there was things that looked like they'd been scrapped last minute. It was a really good concept and there was some cool stuff on there so hoping they get it up and running in time this year!
  9. One of my mates was after a ticket and I thought I'd try and help but thought it would be super unlikely just doing it on my phone from a pub but I bloody got him one! After normally trying with every laptop I can find the secret clearly is 4G on your iPhone!
  10. I've said Thursday - bit more settled than Wednesday and feel like the whole festival is slowly waking up as things open and the buzz intensifies. Always some good music on during the day/night and just a bit different to when the festival is in full flow Friday-Sunday.
  11. For the 2019 festival we got coach tickets in the resale - it didn't leave London until 8am on the Thursday and we didn't get in and to our camp (that had fortunately been set up by our friends) until probably about 2pm. It definitely wasn't ideal getting there that late and I felt like I missed out on a bit of the festival getting there that late BUT we managed to get tickets to the festival and we had an absolutely amazing time all weekend. Some of our other friends waited until the Sunday as they didn't want to get the coach and none of them got tickets. Moral of the story is, whenever the coach gets there you're at the best festival in the world and you're gonna have a great time, good luck and hope to see you all in the fields in June!
  12. Ah ok nice one will just try that then, thanks for the tip. Yeah we're excited to take her - hope your little one has a great festival too!
  13. We usually camp in Oxylers due to its central location, have never been robbed and always had a really great time there. This year however we're going to have our 18 month old girl so probably after somewhere a bit quieter... Me and 2 others are heading in early Wednesday morning (like 5am) and then later on in the day my wife with the little one to avoid the hassle of queuing with a baby! I was thinking of aiming for Big Ground because it's still near family camping but I feel a bit weird going for Family Camping when I don't actually have the baby! Thoughts on this approach people? Or is there a better option that I haven't thought of?
  14. For UK people can balance be paid by credit card or debit only? Will have to wait until Friday if can't pay by credit card 😔
