The same thing happened to us so would like to know. Arrived at like 3am and put in such a weird far away car park.
Plan is the same this year so hoping to get a better car parking spot.

Anyone who's not coming with us for the overnight shift is giving us their tents to set up and in return they're bringing in some of our alcohol.
Putting up their tents for them I'd say is the only way of doing it if you don't mind that massive pain in the arse task which personally I don't!

So had an email from Seetickets Monday, nothing from RM but tickets came today! Much quicker than expected and also than a lot of others in this thread? Maybe they're speeding up?

Ok so basically if I got my email from See yesterday then tickets should arrive next Monday or so?
Away from Friday and not back until Wednesday so going to miss them!!

Was originally planning to do Elton with the family and have a nice singalong type Sunday evening but I'm not passing up the opportunity to see QOTSA headline the Other again.
2011 still up there as one of my favourite festival sets ever so it's gotta be done.

Maybe there's some acts I haven't heard of that are great but the Saturday is so lacking from my point of view during the day - other than Manics there's no one I massively care about seeing.
Can't remember that happening well, ever at Glasto before!

Set up my tent, crack the first can and get it down me sharpish, help other less practical members of the camp set up their tents while drinking further cans.
Once everything is set up, get the chair out and bask in the glory of being at Glastonbury with several more cans

EODM are playing 2000 Trees a couple of weeks later so don't know if that makes Homme more or less likely for Glasto?

ATG did the same in December and announced 2 of their headliners on the band per day for a week thing so could still get one or 2 headliners?

I went to see GNR at the London Stadium a few years ago (2017/18 maybe?) and they were really tight and on form. Was honestly really impressed compared to other times in the past when they were really sloppy, late and just a mess generally.
Have they really gone that much downhill since then that most of the festival population will reject them? Surely more popular with your average joe than Metallica?

Camped about halfway up Big Ground this year and found it a really great spot. Were looking at something quieter than Pennards/Oxlyers where we've camped in the past and it was ideal really. Close enough to everything without it being too overly loud late at night.
Only real downside is The Park is so far away but can't have it all.
We sleep in the queue every year and after joining the gate C queue about 4am this year I'm sure there was more people overnight than usual.
May well consider pre-erected options this year if we can persuade others in the group for an easier start to the festival!

Might just be a coincidence but I was using Chrome for the first hour with absolutely no luck or progress, switched to Edge just before 10 and suddenly everything was quicker and I got the registration page a few times.
Others in our group got more success using Edge than other browsers as well, is there something in that maybe? Not tech-savvy enough to really understand!

Unbelievable, my group got through about 9:30 and nothing else until after the sold out messages where we got another 3 groups through.
Even when it was saying 'all tickets have been allocated' just hammered refresh at every stage and it eventually worked.
Absolute bloody madness

At home, blocked out my calendar entirely to avoid any meetings and managed to get basically all my work done this morning so I can get packed this afternoon!
