WHAT?!?!? Where did you get that tasty piece of info?!? Do you have any links on articles etc?!?
Have to say, Only went to Primavera in Barcelona once, in 2014. It was BRILLIANT!!!! Unfortunately, couldnt afford 2015. And now I am a dad, so its likely Im unable to get to Primavera Barcelona again till 2034. BUT.....if there was a UK version? I would be VERY happy! It’s on the Primavera website. Was announced a few weeks ago. A Hollywood version and also another version with an image that is clearly the London Eye.
and primavera Benidorm too.

The BNP got their most ever votes in this country after Griffin appeared on Question Time.
The marketplace of ideas shite is fairytale bollocks that puts people at risk.
The success of the anti Tommy Robinson electoral campaign didn’t hinge on debating him, because as shown by people like him and Trump, it just doesn’t work. It hinges on actual activism and prevention.

That Tyler gig is now Tyler, Jaden Smith, Blood Orange and Gold Link. Probably worth knocking on 60 notes.

The Kooks are playing a warm up gig in Oxford on the Friday of glasto. Doesn’t expand on what it’s a warm up for.

MC Pinty - released one of the releases of the year on Rhythm Section, garagey rnb Streets esque - seemingly self confirmed on Instagram.

Would be amazing to get some Banksy in the fields... Is he a glasto fan?
Not sure if you’re joking or not, but he’s been doing stuff at the festival for several years, normally multiple pieces each year.

Same with me. Literally 15-20 mins door to door! Probably should have held out until there were some competitions though.

Anyone know what happened with the licence review?

Yes, that Liverpool never lose knockout Champions League football under Jurgen Norbert Klopp.
Yes, I reckon Friday now.
Other than the past three consecutive years they’ve failed to win it under him you mean?

Think a few people might have missed this re Macca

Going to very surprised and disappointed if we don’t get Dave and Octavian.

Someone said in another thread, the Shangri La announcement was at 8pm last time, so you might have a wait.

on the Sunday of 2016 i was chilling in the acoustic bar when a sure fire tip came in that Prince was about to play John Peel tent - needless to say we reorganised our internal organs to get there only to hear the Kooks wafting over the long drops. disappointment could have been bottled...(despite asmiring the kooks but hey?..)
Think I’d have ran if he played a secret set two months after he died ?

Whether trying to convince themselves or something else, there was a certain misconception that getting a ticket in the resale would be very easy because seemingly half the festival was giving their ticket back due to the lineup and possibly waiting for next year. In reality, I don’t think either of those are true

I think given the horrible news yesterday that it might have seemed a bit of a bad day for it.
The initial lineup came out the same day as the Christchurch attacks, which I know is quite strange.

So unlikely, they’re not glasto regulars or nailed on, they’re the go to substitute?
Definitely not the latter. I personally massively doubt it, they’re probably at their lowest peak since the reunion, have only been booked once since the reunion, I think only once before then and it’s questionable they’d be big enough anyway.

As they like having The Libertines playing or Carl and Pete separately, what if they asked them to fill in for prodigy and they accepted so they decided to not continue with a hiatus? It says exclusive but when Glastonburys involved it sometimes doesnt matter.
Or the cracks good in Coventry... I wouldn't rule it out tho.
The Libertines in full have played Glasto once, which they were booked as a replacement.

Are you madly excited that Stormzy is headlining? He just pulled out of headlining another fest because he didn't like his manager getting weapon searched and we've got nothing but crickets on the second album. As it stands he doesn't even have enough music to fill a headline slot!
I think you’ve lost your track of what you’re trying to say and letting your own personal bias get in the way.

Imagine if theyd announced Foals as a headliner and then they dropped that album that a lot of us have had on repeat. The hype would be huge. It's a dull booking from a year of numerous dull bookings and seemingly missed opportunities. I hope it goes well for him though, he seems like a decent guy.
A dull booking? Have an objective look at it.

Is Four Tet going to appear and I wonder where they’d put him?
He’s already self confirmed. He plays most years, usually a couple of times.

Supposedly Prince had signed but was worried he’d get the same reaction Kanye got so pulled.
